happy national dance day!

Hi everyone! We're so glad to share some amazing things with you today. First, a little about us and what this page is. This is the website for our upcoming short film, Manège, produced by three students at Emerson College – Meghan Smith, Estefania Martinez, and Isabella Rosete.

Manége is about a perfectionist ballerina who obsessively recreates the same day over and over to improve her technique, so that she can successfully land the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in her company’s production of The Nutcracker. We are super excited to make this film about a strong female artist, and can't wait to highlight and uplift the stories of other strong female artists throughout our whole production process – and that begins with this website.

On this website, we will post many exciting things regarding Manège, including updates about our production, short biographies about everyone who joins our team, and spotlights on inspiring female filmmakers and dancers we admire, among many other things. We can't wait to recognize all the incredible, under-recognized talent in creative fields, and share some of our passions with you all.

Since today is National Dance Day, we thought we would celebrate with a BIG launch: our website AND Instagram page!

We plan on publishing our crowdfunding page very soon, so stay tuned here or on @manegefilm on Instagram to get updates!
